On arrival at Dehradun early in the morning, you will be taken to Camp Lunagad via Mussourie. There will be a stopover for breakfast at the majestic Kempty Falls. You will arrive at the camp at 2 pm. After lunch you will be given a camp and safety briefing. Once you have freshened up, you will go for a raft ride to Khunigad. A campfire dinner will be organized for you.
After breakfast at 8:30 am, you will head for Mori village to begin your whitewater river rafting adventure. You will experience that adrenalin rush as you raft down the rapids till Khunigad. Lunch will be served back at the camp. The afternoon can be spent in recreational activities like sports including volleyball/cricket or an optional hike up the Lunagad creek which leads to a blue pool formed by a small waterfall. Campfire dinner will be organized.
A hiking expedition will be organized today from Sandhra to Mori village. You will also visit the Hanol temple, dedicated to the chief deity of this region. As per legend, Pandavas built this temple which during the Mughal era Emperor Akbar frequented. On the way back from the Hanol Temple, you will get to see the tallest pine tree in Asia. On return to the camp by late afternoon, you can engage in recreational activities. There will be a Campfire dinner.
You will drive to Mori in the morning for another rafting adventure till the camp. After an early lunch, you will be taken to Dehradun to board either the overnight Mussorie Express, or the day train, Shatabdhi Express.
