• By Air –  Nearest airport to reach Kedarnath is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun – at 238 km distance. You can cover journey by taxi or bus from airport to Kedarnath. Gaurikund is the nearest destination connected well via road to rest of the world.
• By Train – Nearest railway station is in Rishikesh from where you can take taxi or bus to cover the distance of 216km to Gaurikund.
• By Road –  Guarikund is the last destination connected well via road. From this place, you have to cover remaining journey of 14 km on foot or through horse riding or Palki.

Kedarnath Helicopter and Trekking Options

You can take Pali or Mules or move on foot to cover distance of 14 km from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. Helicopter services are also available from Phata, Sersi and Guptkashi.
